About the Role
The Finance Accountant reports to the Finance Manager and supports the Accounts Team to provide comprehensive Accounts Payable support, as well as financial and management reporting for both the Hong Kong and Singapore offices. Primary responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the day to day operations of the Accounts Department
- Handling the Accounts Payable function, including processing and verifying vendor invoices and staff expense claims; as well as coordinating and scheduling payments
- Maintaining full-set bookkeeping, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
- Preparing financial reports and providing support to management reporting function
- Liaising with external auditors, tax advisors, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure timely completion of audits and statutory filings
- Assisting ad hoc duties as and when required
EXPERIENCE
What You Bring
In addition to indisputably high ethical standards and autonomy, the ideal candidate possesses the following:
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, or related field is required
- Professional certifications such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) are preferred
- At least 3 years of experience in accounting role, with a good understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Proficient in MS applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Fluent in Cantonese and English is a requirement
- Proactive, well-organised and attention to details
